Description
Victoria is the second watch model created by Optimef, which reinvents, through its name and design, the history of one of the most beautiful avenues in Bucharest, Calea Victoriei.
Victoria retains the brand's signature graphic and architectural inspiration, this time telling the story of two iconic buildings in interwar Bucharest: the Adriatica building and the Autonomous House of State Monopolies.
Inspired by the clocks still visible on these buildings, the Victoria model indicates the hours either by cutouts in the dial or by small raised elements.
The exaggerated details, the subtle interplay of light and shadow, and the chromatic contrast make Victoria a remarkable design object, aesthetically pleasing and perfectly legible from a distance, a nod to the urban clocks of the last century.
