Our Eyewear collection is named after the most iconic winds of the Mediterranean coast.

The Bora is a cold, dry northerly wind that descends from the Alps towards the Adriatic Sea, Croatia, and Italy. It forms as a result of a pressure difference between a high-pressure system over Central Europe and a low-pressure system over the western Mediterranean. In winter, it can reach storm force.

These sunglasses are entirely handmade in Portugal, in JM's workshop, using premium materials sourced exclusively from Italy, from the finest manufacturers, including Mazzuchelli. An exceptional piece of craftsmanship, the result of expertise that very few workshops still maintain today.

Bora sunglasses are fitted with CR39 – UV400 sun lenses, made in Italy. Depending on the lens tint, we use Divel or Sel Optical lenses.
