The travel toiletry kit is handmade by artisans in Ubrique, Spain - a town of artisans renowned for its quality since the 19th century.
Instead of using a chrome dyeing process, Portegna leather is dyed with a unique blend of natural tannins and coloring compounds derived from flowers and tree bark. The leather is treated with olive oil to nourish, soften, and strengthen it.
Our process offers two advantages over dyeing. It uses chrome, resulting in a natural leather appearance that develops a unique patina over time. It literally improves with use and age and is infinitely more environmentally friendly.
*If this product is accidentally soiled, it is recommended to have it dry cleaned. It is important not to rub it with soap and water as this material has been naturally dyed.
